Football fans frustrated over live streaming, Jio Cinema apologises for inconvenience

FIFA World Cup 2022:

Football fans were left frustrated by the indifferent live streaming of  the FIFA World Cup 2022 opening ceremony from Qatar on Jio Cinema.

Jio Cinema is providing the live streaming of football's biggest tournament for Indian fans.

"Dear Jio Cinema fans, We are continuously working to give you a great  experience. Please upgrade your app to the latest version to enjoy  #FIFAWorldCupQatar2022. Apologies for any inconvenience," Jio Cinema  tweeted towards the end of the opening ceremony.

The World Cup 2022 was declared open at the glittering ceremony, which  was graced by the legendary American actor Morgan Freeman and BTS'  Jungkook. Freeman, who narrated the ceremony, said: "Football spans the  world, unites nations in their love of the beautiful game. What brings  together nations, brings together communities."

Jungkook performed 'Dreamers' as he was surrounded by dancers around  him. The giant mascot La'eeb of the World Cup 2022 welcomed the BTS star  as well as singer Fahad Al Kubaisi.

During the ceremony, dancers also performed on previous World Cup  tournaments' songs, including the famous 'Waka Waka' by Shakira and 'Ale  Ale Ale' by Ricky Martin.
